The Halifax Association of Vegetarians is hosting a dinner at Lui's
Formosa Gift and Tea House, which is located at 278 Wyse Road (corner of
Albro Lake Rd.) in Dartmouth. They are usually closed on Sunday, but
will open for our dinner at 6:00 pm. on Sunday, June 9th.
The dinner (which is vegan friendly) will begin with a Chinese Tea
Ceremony and include of a sampling of their many menu options and some
not on their regular menu. Chantal Coolen, owner of
The Kind Cookie (gluten free and vegan baked goods) will speak to us
about her company, and bring
samples for us to try.
Cost is $15 each, plus tax and gratuity. Everyone is welcome, but space
is limited to 20 places, so please reserve at
